JANUARY 15-MARCH 15 sublet our gorgeous room in a shared brownstone on Jefferson ave, 10 min walk to A train at Utica in Bed-Stuy. My husband and I will be out of town for two months and we are looking to find one person or a couple to take our gorgeous room. THE ROOM: It's on the second floor, garden facing, quiet and peaceful with tons of natural light and a luxurious walk in closet. We have two desks, a cozy armchair, and a queen size bed. Full use of our youtube tv/google home included. THE BATHROOM:Next to our room is a brand new renovated bathroom with a soaking tub that we share with the couple in the room in the same hallway. THE HOUSEMATES:Upstairs from us is our roommate with her wonderful cat. Next to her is the brother of our floormate and his lovely 9 year old son, who is here one week on, one week off. In total, not including you, there are 4 adults full time and one kid half the time. The housemates are creative professionals, with a variety of pursuits and interests. We have a whatsapp group for an easy stream of communication and all the housemates are wonderful people and great and considerate communicators. THE HOUSE: The majority of us have been living together for at least 3 years; we moved in here in October from a different location nearby and we just love our new home, and think that you will too. The chef's kitchen is enormous, we have a giant patio, huge backyard, and community rooms on the first floor (massive living room/dining room, guest bathroom, and kitchen) THE VIBE: We have occasional shared dinners and hangouts, but also respect each other's individual lives and privacy. There is a sense of community and a friendly, laid back vibe, and also plenty of space for all. All housemates are great communicators and we have a whatsapp thread going for any needs that may arise. THE PRICE: Our room rent is $1860 a month. We also share the cost of a housecleaner that comes every two weeks, as well as bills. We ask for a security deposit of half a month.
